Tswana Cowpeas is well adapted to the hot and dry climate and sandy soil types of Botswana. Yields a white to tan colour grain. This versatile legume is suited for grain-, hay-, as well as silage production and combines well with Maize or Sorghum.  The phrase: “you can’t keep a good man down” is suitable for this crop, because it will always return to deliver under any condition.
